Job Summary: As a Due Diligence Analyst, you will conduct due diligence investigations utilising an array of public information, databases, and sources. You will be based at the client's site in Canary Wharf and be part of the in-house Due Diligence team. You will work with a diverse and international team.

What you will be doing at Evalueserve:

  • Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) research in English and one of the following languages: German & EU Language.
  • Identifying subjects of research according to the KYC standards of the client.
  • Conduct Adverse Media Screening and Database checks using proprietary databases and aggregators.
  • Assess and analyse research results applying background knowledge and experience.
  • Manage workflow, including during busy periods.
  • Handle material non-public information (MNPI) and personal identifying information (PII) in accordance with client's requirements and the law.
  • Work within a global team and communicate effectively with team members as well as the client.
  • When necessary, engage with external vendors to conduct higher level of due diligence.

What we’re looking for:

  • High level of German (at least C1) and English (C2 or near native).
  • Be able to conduct research, read and comprehend complex text that could span from media reports to legal/regulatory documents and transcribe into English.
  • High level writing, analytical, synthetical and research skills with attention to detail.
  • An inquisitive and curious mind.
  • Ability to interpret and simplify complex information.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Team Player, must want to work with others.
  • An interest in learning new skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Due Diligence research experience.
  • Experience working in an Investment Banking Environment is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of potential financial crime and laws.
  • ACAMS or ICA certification is advantageous.
