Role Overview

Evalueserve is seeking a highly motivated and results‑driven

Business Development Director (Hunter) to expand our footprint within the Asset Management (AM)/Private Equity (PE) ecosystem.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and acquiring new clients by positioning Evalueserve's research, analytics, due diligence, portfolio value creation, and technology‑enabled solutions.

This is a pure hunter role focused on opening new doors, building pipelines, and closing strategic opportunities with AM/PE firms and their portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Development
  • Drive new client acquisition within the solution through proactive prospecting and relationship‑building.
  • Develop and execute a targeted go‑to‑market strategy focused on AM/PE firms, operating partners, deal teams, and portfolio company executives.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through networking, referrals, industry conferences, digital outreach, and strategic partnerships.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities aligned with Evalueserve's service offerings.
  • Client Engagement & Solution Selling
  • Establish trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders, including Partners, Managing Directors, Operating Partners, CFOs, and Portfolio Management teams.
  • Understand client challenges and develop customized solutions leveraging Evalueserve's capabilities.
  • Revenue Generation
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual new business revenue targets.
  • Own the full sales lifecycle from prospect identification to deal closure.
  • Accurately forecast opportunities and maintain sales activity within Hubspot.
  • Drive cross‑selling opportunities by introducing new services and capabilities to newly acquired clients.
  • Market Leadership
  • Develop a strong understanding of AM/PE market trends, industry dynamics, and competitive positioning.
  • Represent Evalueserve at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
  • Collaborate with marketing, delivery, and practice teams to develop thought leadership and client engagement strategies.
  • Required Qualifications
  • 5-10 years of experience in business development, consulting, or solution selling, with a strong focus on Asset Management/Private Equity or Financial Services,
  • Demonstrated success in a hunter role with a proven track record of acquiring new clients and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience selling outsourced services, research and analytics solutions, consulting services, or technology‑enabled business solutions.
  • Strong understanding of buy side research processes, investment processes, portfolio management, and value creation initiatives.
  • Proven ability to identify, develop, negotiate, and close large, complex, multi‑year engagements.
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior executives and decision‑makers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship‑management skills.
  • Self‑starter with a highly entrepreneurial mindset and strong ownership of sales outcomes.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings, conferences, and business development activities.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Existing network of AM/PE firms, operating partners, and senior industry contacts.
  • Experience selling analytics, research, AI, data management, or consulting services.
  • Strong understanding of offshore, nearshore, and global delivery models.
  • Experience working within professional services, knowledge services, or consulting organizations.
