YOUR MISSION

We’ve an exciting opportunity for a result driven Sales Director whose comfortable working in a faced paced environment to lead our revenue operations. You can hit the ground running and be comfortable taking ownership of our sales strategy, driving further high revenue growth. With previous Sales Director experience gained within a SaaS environment, ideally with the context of selling software to contact centres, you’ll have significant leadership capability and will inspire common vision across the revenue team and lead them towards high growth and success.

Role Overview

Working with the Senior Leadership team you’ll lead on building an effective revenue team that supports our strategic growth plans. We have the foundations for success, and you’ll take these to the next level, which will involve international expansion, with focus on North America. Working closely with the Head of Sales and Head of Customer Success you’ll be accountable for driving revenue and growth of our platform across existing accounts and new business. You’ll get excited by creating, developing and executing strategic go-to-market and sales plans to reach growth targets. Importantly you’ll be able to bring people along with you and build relationships across teams to support your delivery.

YOUR PROFILE Key Accountabilities:

  • Working closely with our Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Operations Officer, you’ll lead the sales process from contact to completion. Including driving commercial proposals, negotiations, and legal processes.
  • Monitor and supervise the team reporting weekly to the Leadership Team on their performance against targets.
  • Managing and developing the relationship with our outsourced SDR team.
  • Active management of the pipeline in CRM to enable accurate forecasting and informed decision making.
  • Supporting the team in the preparation of proposals and contracts, ensuring deals are maximised commercially.
  • Embrace and proactively lead a culture of passion, curiosity and generosity within the team and wider business.
  • You’ll champion a productive partnership with other teams (e.g., marketing, product, engineering).
  • Be prepared to step in and support the team close and win sales opportunities, including attending customer visits where required.
  • Inspire, engage and enable your team; coach them on best practice, review and assess performance, build employee capacity, support their professional development and optimise their contribution to the business.
  • With the support of your Heads of and our People Team, you’ll recruit and retain high-performing talent that can support our ambitious growth targets.

To succeed its likely you’ll have

  • At least 5 years' experience in a Sales Director role within a high growth SaaS environment, ideally with the context of selling software to contact centres. You have lived and breathed this role.
  • Previously led a 10M+ (minimum) ARR sales function with 50%+ growth.
  • Experience of selling into both UK and American markets.
  • Commercially astute with good business acumen.
  • Experience of managing outsourced SDR teams.
  • Forecasting pipeline and deals in HubSpot (or similar).
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Significant experience in coaching, developing and leading sales professionals.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of industry issues and competitive landscape to ensure relevance and appropriate competitive positioning.
  • You’ll be required to occasionally travel across the UK and internationally.
