Our client is a long-established independent automotive service and MOT group with multiple branches across Surrey and the South East, providing servicing, diagnostics, repairs and MOT testing across a wide range of vehicle brands.
As part of their continued growth and future planning, they are currently preparing to launch their EV servicing package and are now looking to recruit qualified IMI Level 3 EV Technicians to help strengthen their EV capability. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking independent business investing in the future of EV servicing, diagnostics and high-voltage capability as EV demand continues to grow across the UK aftermarket.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repair work on EV and hybrid vehicles
- Safely work on high-voltage systems in line with industry standards
- Diagnose electrical and electronic vehicle faults
- Support the launch and growth of the company's EV servicing offering
- Carry out routine servicing and mechanical work where required
- Work collaboratively within a busy workshop environment
- Ensure all work is completed to a high technical and safety standard
- IMI Level 3 qualification in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement
- Experience working within a workshop or garage environment
- Good diagnostic and fault-finding capability
- High-voltage safety awareness and competence
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience working on both EV and ICE vehicles
- Multi-brand vehicle experience
- OEM EV training
- Diagnostic equipment experience
