We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, an independent garage, who are seeking an experienced IMI Level 3 Electric Vehicle Technician to support increasing demand for EV servicing and repairs. This is a key role within the workshop, working directly on high-voltage EV systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on electric and hybrid vehicles.
- Perform advanced diagnostics and system testing.
- Safely remove, replace, and recommission high-voltage components.
- Ensure all EV work complies with IMI Level 3 safety standards.
- Support and guide junior or Level 2 technicians.
- Complete detailed job cards and technical reports.
Requirements
- IMI Level 3 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement (essential)
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
- Proven experience working on EV or hybrid vehicles.
- Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
