EV-Electric (EVe) Charging Pte Ltd is the organisation behind Singapore’s public EV charging network. Wholly owned and fully backed by the Land Transport Authority (LTA), we lead the nationwide deployment of EV chargers and the electrical infrastructure upgrades that make clean, reliable mobility possible.

As EV adoption accelerates, we are expanding our team and looking for driven, detail-oriented engineers who want to work on projects that truly matter.

As Technical Manager, EV Infrastructure Development, you will support the execution of electrical infrastructure upgrades—such as substations and consumer switch rooms—that power Singapore’s growing EV charging network. You will work closely with contractors, partner agencies, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy hands-on site work, stakeholder coordination, and seeing complex infrastructure projects through from planning to completion.

What You Will Do

  • Manage site progress and supervise contractor performance
  • Conduct and support site assessments to ensure readiness and compliance
  • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within approved budgets
  • Coordinate with partner agencies and stakeholders to facilitate smooth implementation
  • Organize stakeholder meetings and proactively resolve site or coordination issues
  • Ensure works are properly sequenced and de-conflicted to minimize disruption
  • Support day-to-day operational and administrative functions within the team
  • Lead or support ad-hoc projects and improvement initiatives
  • Ensure assigned tasks and deliverables are completed accurately and on time

Why This Role Is Challenging & Rewarding

  • Managing multiple contractors and stakeholders across live sites
  • Balancing technical requirements, timelines, and operational constraints
  • Applying initiative and creativity to streamline processes and solve on-site challenges
  • Contributing directly to infrastructure that supports Singapore’s sustainability goals

You will be expected to demonstrate:

  • Business Awareness & Execution – Align technical work with organizational and national objectives
  • Innovation & Problem Solving – Identify opportunities to improve processes and outcomes
  • Evidence-Based Decision Making – Analyze information and make sound engineering recommendations
  • Collaboration & Team Support – Work effectively with colleagues and support collective success
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Build trust and communicate clearly with external partners
  • Adaptability & Growth Mindset – Respond positively to change and continuously develop your skills

What We’re Looking For

  • Mental sharpness with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong work ethic, dependable, and proactive
  • Able to build and maintain positive working relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (GIS/BIM experience is an advantage)

Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong background in Electrical or Civil Engineering
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably involving electrical infrastructure upgrades
  • Candidates with less than 2 years of experience will also be considered if they demonstrate strong organizational skills, teamwork, and leadership potential

Why Join EVe?

  • Work on high-impact, nation-wide infrastructure projects
  • Be part of Singapore’s EV transformation journey
  • Enjoy the stability and purpose of an LTA-backed organisation
