We are looking for an energetic and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our team. You will be responsible for receiving, handling and dispatching merchandise to and from our warehouse.
JOB DETAILS
- Competitive salary
- Monday night to Saturday morning 12:00am – 10:00am shift
- This is a permanent nights position
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
- Load and unload outgoing and incoming delivery vehicles.
- Select products from the warehouse, load and secure goods to pallets, move inventory to delivery area, and load merchandise.
- Unload stock from delivery vehicles, and transport to and store in designated warehouse positions.
- Adhere to the warehouse health and safety policy and procedures.
- Accept delivery of inventory, counting and confirming inventory and inspecting inventory for damage and faults.
- Communicate errors to relevant parties.
- Mark and label stock.
- Store inventory in an accessible manner and load and wrap stock on pallets.
- Build loads with forklift and electronic pallet jack.
- Yard checks and downloads.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Qualifications: Hold a forklift license.
- Experience: Previous experience is essential particularly in operating a forklift. You will work well under pressure and have the ability to prioritise. You will have excellent time keeping and have a strong customer and quality focus.
- Communication: You will have good communication skills, spoken and written.
- Influence & Persuasion: Build good working relationships with colleagues and our customers.
- People & Self Development: You will have a flexible “can do” attitude to cope with constantly changing priorities.
