Location: EV Cargo, Unit 2 Premier Point, Aston Lane South, Preston Brook, Runcorn, WA7 3GG.
The Role: We are now recruiting for LGV/HGV C+E Class 1 Drivers on a full-time permanent basis, with various shifts available, to join our team in Runcorn. As we continue to grow, we have a number of roles available undertaking two slightly different activities outlined below.
- Nationwide transport solutions: The role includes operating articulated curtain sided vehicles, collecting palletised products from our local and regional customer base, and delivering into various locations across the UK.
- Specialist retail deliveries: Undertaking specialist store deliveries for a key partner, this role includes the delivery of cages on Double Deck tail lift trailers. Comprehensive training will be provided for this activity with the role attracting an 'Enhanced Upskill Payment'.
What we are looking for:
- Full class 1 C+E UK driving licence (Essential)
- Current DCPC
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- Excellent driving skills
- Good communication
- Ability to Work Effectively and Accurately in a Fast-Paced Environment
- Newly qualified drivers considered

- 4 on 4 off Day Shift – Weekly Paid £ Meal Allowance per shift - Average Earnings £35,500
- 4 on 4 off Night Shift – Weekly Paid £ Meal Allowance per shift - Average Earnings £38,000
- Mon-Fri Day Shift– Average hourly rate (Inc Meal Allowance) - £ Potential Earnings (based on average of 10 hours per shift) - £39,676
- Mon-Fri Night Shift – Average hourly rate (Inc Meal Allowance)- £ Potential Earnings (Based on an average of 11 hours per shift) - £50,364
- Additional shifts available at £18/hr for Days & £20/hr for nights
