Role
As an Ocean/Air Freight Operator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing international shipments across both ocean and air freight. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth movement of goods, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage ocean freight shipments (imports and exports), ensuring timely and efficient collection and delivery.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and carriers to arrange shipping schedules, negotiate rates, and manage documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to queries, resolving issues, and building strong client relationships.
- Prepare and process shipping and customs documentation accurately.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and internal trade compliance policies.
- Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers and stakeholders.
- Adapt to changing priorities and manage unforeseen challenges effectively.
- Manage multiple shipments simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
