Key Responsibilities / IMPLANT WITHIN MANOR ROYAL CRAWLEY
SAP and Documentation Management
- Create commercial invoices in SAP (SR) based on order management inputs in delivery notes
- Generate invoices in SAP from STRs
- Maintain and update toolkit paperwork with accurate commodity codes and commercial invoice details
- Keep classification sheet updated with newly obtained commodity codes
Shipping and Freight Coordination
- Book courier shipments in line with customer shipping crib requirements
- Arrange airfreight bookings as per customer crib instructions
- Request quotes for ad-hoc shipments and full builds; cross-check costs with benchmark pricing
- Action AOG (Aircraft on Ground) shipments promptly and efficiently
Import/Export Processes
- Create and issue import clearance instructions, ensuring correct assignment of SR/PO and commodity code determination
- Update the export register with proof of delivery (PODs), airway bills (AWBs), and other relevant documents
- Maintain daily updates of the import register
Communication and Cross-Functional Support
- Manage the logistics inbox daily, ensuring timely responses and actions
- Collaborate with internal teams to advise on optimal shipping methods and cost-effective solutions
- Handle daily queries and general administrative tasks related to logistics
Monitoring and Reporting
- Review logistics-related Jira tickets weekly and follow up on pending actions
- Monitor the pack and dispatch listing of shipments, ensuring alignment with inbox and physical stock movements
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in logistics, shipping coordination, or supply chain administration
- Strong knowledge of SAP (specifically SR, STR, and delivery note processing)
- Familiarity with international shipping processes, including airfreight and courier services
- Understanding of import/export compliance and documentation
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
