Cyber Security Analyst | Full time| HYBRID

We are looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join our team. This role plays a major part of EV Cargo’s continued focus on Cyber Security and Risk.

THE ROLE

Cyber Security Analysts constitute a major part of EV Cargo’s continued focus on Cyber Security and Risk.

Cyber Security analysts are subject matter experts and maximise the protection of EV Cargo systems by considering all aspects of Cyber Security including, but not limited to, patch management, anti-virus, anti-malware, anti-phishing, ransomware protection, endpoint protection, network security, application security, vulnerability scanning, vendor management, remote access security and network access control.

Experience of Cyber Security related standards such as Cyber Essentials or ISO 27001 is essential.

Experience of CrowdStrike is beneficial.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITES:

• Involvement in projects related to the implementation, administration and support of Cyber Security technologies across the EV Cargo group.
• Monitoring of helpdesk for any Cyber Security related tickets.
• Monitoring and administration of Cyber Security technologies to minimise the risks to EV Cargo from Cyber Security threats.
• Implementing regular testing of EV Cargo’s systems through techniques such as vulnerability scanning, penetration testing and phishing simulations.
• Ensuring EV Cargo colleagues are aware of their role in supporting the defence of EV Cargo systems and data.
• Maintaining a very close and collaborative working relationship with EV Cargo IT specialists to drive a security-focussed approach to systems management, implementation, monitoring and configuration.
• Keeping up to date with the latest security technologies, trends, and threats, and making recommendations to on ways to improve the organisation’s security posture

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 12 months hands on Cyber Security experience
• An approach of perpetual learning to ensure EV Cargo benefits from lessons learned from completed projects and industry best practice.
• This role requires close working with the IT teams at each EV Cargo company.
• A hybrid role that will require regular travel to EV Cargo\’s Burton or Ashby company sites once a week.
