As a Transport Operations Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting operational delivery while maintaining strong customer relationships, trailer compliance and yard visibility across our transport network.
This role combines customer ownership with hands-on operational coordination, working closely with planners, hauliers and yard teams to ensure safe, compliant and efficient transport execution while supporting service excellence and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Operational Delivery
- Support day to day transport operations through close collaboration with planning teams and hauliers
- Track loads and proactively manage service risks, delays and operational issues
- Assist with managing transport documentation to ensure accuracy and visibility
- Contribute to continuous improvement through operational insight and problem solving
- Customer Partnership
- Act as a key customer contact, providing operational updates and resolving service queries
- Build trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders across the EV Cargo network
- Manage orders from initial instruction through to successful delivery
- Support reporting and KPI visibility aligned to customer and internal performance standards
- Trailer Compliance & Yard Coordination
- Support trailer and vehicle compliance processes including defect reporting, maintenance tracking and documentation control
- Conduct yard checks where required to ensure trailer availability, integrity and operational readiness
- Maintain asset visibility and escalate safety or compliance risks promptly
- Work collaboratively with transport and yard teams to uphold EV Cargo safety and compliance standards
Skills & Experience
- Experience within transport, logistics or traffic operations environments
- Understanding of haulage processes, trailer management and operational coordination
- Awareness of transport compliance requirements and defect reporting processes
- Experience working with hauliers and operational stakeholders
- Strong administration, reporting and attention to detail
- Confident IT user with transport or tracking system exposure desirable
- Strong communication skills with ability to balance operational and customer priorities
