HGV Class 1 Driver – Trunks | Full Time - Nights | St Leonards-on-Sea
Our drivers are one of the most important roles within Palletforce Logistics Sussex. As a fully qualified Class 1 Driver, you will have the important role of delivering our consignments to and from our hub, whilst being safe and taking care of yourself on the road.
THE SALARY:
LOCATION: This role will be based at our site in St Leonards-on-Sea.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Driving our Double deck trailers to and from our hub.
- Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to at all times.
- Various HGV duties, including daily checks to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use, complying with vehicle security and standing procedures at all times.
- Able to work Saturday morning, returning from Friday night Trunking movement.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Qualifications: Class 1 Driving Licence.
- Experience: Previous experience is essential. Will have completed a CPC Training Course and have a strong geographical and logistical knowledge.
- Communication: You will have good communication skills, spoken and written.
- Influence & Persuasion: Build good working relationships with work colleagues, customers, and HUB staff.
- Planning & Organisation: You will be adaptable in your start and finish times depending on requirements.
