Class 1 Driver – Full Time (St Leonards-on-Sea)

The Role
As a fully qualified Class 1 Driver, you will deliver products to our customers while ensuring the safety of yourself and the vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
- Use a handheld terminal to record accurate information.
- Occasionally drive Class 2 and 3.5t vehicles during peak periods.
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle.
- Drive Class 1 vehicle safely and responsibly.
- Perform daily vehicle checks to confirm roadworthiness.
- Inform the transport office of any problems in a timely manner.
- Be fit to drive, considering alcohol intake, rest periods, and medication.
- Arrive at jobs on time.
- Deliver excellent customer service.
- Maintain health and safety standards.
- Follow all road rules.
- Ensure all paperwork is correct, completed, and returned.

Ideal Candidate
- Qualifications: Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Valid CPC, Digital Tacho Card; HGV/LGC Class licence with 12 months experience.
- Experience: Previous experience essential; refrigeration and multi-drop experience beneficial. Completed CPC Training Course.
- Communication: Good spoken and written communication skills.
