Class 2 Driver | Full time | Erith

THE ROLE
Our drivers are one of the most important roles within Palletforce Logistics, and as a fully qualified Class 2 Driver, you will have the important role of delivering products to our customers whilst being safe and taking care of yourself on the road.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use of a handheld terminal to record accurate information
- Occasionally driving 3.5t vehicles during peak periods
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle
- Driving Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly
- Ensure you do your daily vehicle checks to make sure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use
- Ensure you inform the transport office of any problems in good time i.e. if you’re running late
- Fit to drive; considering alcohol intake, daily rest, prescribed/over the counter medication that could affect your ability to drive
- To ensure you arrive at your job on time
- Maintain health and safety standards
- Operating in a safe way, following all road rules
- Ensure all paperwork is correct, completed and returned to the transport office
- Delivering goods to various locations
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Refrigeration experience is preferred but not essential
- Valid Digital Tachograph card is essential
- Completed CPC training course
- Class 2 Driving License (C+E)
- Flexibility
- Strong logistical and geographical knowledge
- Multi-drop experience preferred
- Ability to be adaptable and flexible with start & finish times
- Fully completed driver CPC
- HGV / LGV Class 2 licence with at least 12 months experience
- Good work Ethic
