Full Time Salary: £44,100 per year plus a weekly driver bonus of £50
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle
- Drive Class 1 vehicle safely and responsibly
- Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness
- Inform transport office of any problems in a timely manner
- Fit to drive and consider alcohol intake/rest prescribed medication
- Arrive at job on time
- Provide excellent customer service
- Maintain health and safety standards and follow all road rules
- Ensure all paperwork is correct, completed and returned to transport office
- Deliver goods to various locations
Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 6 months experience
- Valid CPC driver licence (Class 1, CE) with Digital Tachograph card
- Completed CPC training course
- Good knowledge of logistics and geography
- Strong communication skills
- Adaptable with flexible start & finish times
- HGV/LGV Class 1 licence and at least 6 months experience
