Palletforce is a sector leading pallet network with a commitment to safety and operational excellence. We are seeking an experienced and qualified Forklift Truck Instructor to join our dynamic team and ensure the highest safety standards for our operators.
THE ROLE
As our Forklift Instructor, you will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs to ensure the safe and efficient operation of forklifts. You will play a crucial role in promoting a culture of safety and compliance for our operators.
SHIFT PATTERN: Monday – Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm with some flexibility

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver and maintain comprehensive training programs for various types of MHE equipment including shunter training and deliver MHE refreshers every three years
- Maintain accurate records MHE matrix, Issue control and update certification documentation.
- Collaborate with management to identify training needs and enhance safety procedures.
- Excellent communication, strong organisation and presentation skills
- Work closely with site Management to plan and deliver training
- Conduct General induction training for all new colleagues
- Assist in completing Risk assessments and Safe systems of work as and when required
- Update all risk assessment and safe systems of work annually
- A good knowledge of Health & Safety regulations related to MHE
- There will be a need to travel to 3 of our other sites across the country to deliver training and overnight stays will be required when needed.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- 3 years’ experience in valid RTITB, ITSSAR, or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience as a forklift operator and trainer and must hold B1 & B2 and be able to train or willing to be trained on Bendi & VNA
- Be able to train or willing to be trained on a shunter vehicle
