WS Transportation was established in April 2014 by William Stobart and his son Edward Stobart. Nigel McMullan and Edward Stobart oversee the company’s operations. Initially focused on logistics for the construction industry and high & heavy haulage, WS Transportation has since expanded its offerings to include a comprehensive range of end-to-end solutions.
We are looking for Class 1 Drivers to join our team on Days or Nights at our depot in Ashby de La Zouch. The shift pattern is 4 on 4 off days or nights. Our drivers are one of the most important roles within WS and as a fully qualified HGV driver, you will have the important role of delivering products to our customers whilst being safe and taking care of yourself on the road. We have a package which includes a competitive salary, as well as benefits.
THE SALARY
- 4 on 4 off Days = £676.71 Per Week = £35,188.92 P/A Basic
- 4 on 4 off Nights = £746.75 Per Week = £38,831 P/A Basic

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- H&S of themselves and other road users
- Ensuring all units & Trailers are checked before and after shift
- Load security includes strapping using internal and ratchet strapping
- Delivering to all parts of UK
- Paperwork is completed correctly & efficiently
- Representing E V Cargo
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Experience in Class 1 role but not essential as mentoring can be provided
- C+E licence
