Are you a data-driven professional with a passion for uncovering insights that drive marketing and sales success? Our client is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join their team and play a pivotal role in transforming complex data into actionable business intelligence.
As a Data Analyst, you’ll support Sales and Marketing functions by developing compelling Power BI dashboards, analysing customer and market data, and providing data-driven recommendations that shape strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain informative Power BI dashboards and visualisations.
- Analyse customer, market, and competitor data to uncover trends and insights.
- Deliver business performance and competitive landscape reports for the Marketing team.
- Extract and interpret data from complex relational databases using SQL.
- Use statistical tools to identify trends and patterns for both diagnostic and predictive purposes.
- Collaborate with marketing to optimise lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention strategies.
- Monitor, evaluate, and forecast marketing and sales performance using data analytics.
- Design and implement A/B tests to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver tailored insights.
- Keep up to date with the latest tools, trends, and techniques in marketing analytics.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within a marketing context.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI (or similar tools like Tableau).
- Ability to query relational databases using SQL.
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience using Python for data analysis and statistics.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and techniques.
