Principal Technology Recruitment Consultant at Eutopia Solutions
We are working with our client, a Global Professional Services Firm as they add to their Manchester based Technology Team.
The role is Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:00 and as part of a wider cross border Team you would provide audiovisual technical support and virtual event assistance to their Global workforce.
You would utilise your technical expertise to offer support for meetings and events, both virtually and locally in-person. You would work with support professional to offer troubleshooting support, but you will also help support the AV Engineering team in areas such as programming of equipment.
Please note that this is a technical hands-on role not just a support role. Duties will include, but not be limited to, hosting and managing virtual meetings as needed, and offering advice as to the best mediums and managing and supporting other equipment such as webcams, lighting, microphones, projectors, sound equipment, cabling etc
It is essential that you have hardware experience and have the confidence to work independently.
Skills and experience required:
- You will be able to evidence Technical AV experience in a large corporate environment in a standalone AV role
- Experience of working with Extron or Crestron, Logitec and Bi-Amp, in addition to this we would welcome individuals with experience in Shure and Polycom
- A good understanding of videoconference systems and audiovisual components
- It would also be beneficial, but not essential, if you have experience with NDI (network device interface) cameras
- It would highly beneficial, but not essential, if you have experience of administrating / supporting events on Teams and or Zoom
