Network Engineer (Cisco) – Manchester / hybrid working
We are working with a distinguished professional services firm looking to engage a Network Engineer with around 3-5 years experience to join them in Manchester as part of their Global team
With a global annual revenue in excess of $5 billion and an operation that spans EMEA, Asia and the US, you would be working in a fast paced environment. They are looking for a professional that is experienced in working for large scale multi-site enterprises, ideally with a Global outreach.

You will be responsible for assisting with the deployment and support of network services across the firm. This involves assisting with the design, testing, implementation, support, and maintenance of the local and wide area networks, network hardware, wireless services and security.
The role will encompass (but not be limited to), working with others in the planning and implementing firmwide network upgrades and migrations, helping to maintain a highly available network environment, including the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network management tools and assisting with security audits.
In addition to the base salary, there is also a bonus scheme, and a raft of benefits offered. This is a hybrid role with a requirement to be onsite in central Manchester 2 days a week.
Key skills and experience required:
~3-5 years working within a similar networking role
~ Experience of working within a large scale / multi-site private sector environment
~ Proven experience within a Cisco environment with experience across switching, routing, SD/WAN and wireless
~ Ideally you will have experience in at least 1-2 of the following catalyst (ideally C8300), Nexus 9K or Meraki
~ Relevant certification i.e. CCNA, CCNP would be welcomed but is not essential
