We are working with a Global Professional Services client as they look to add to their Infrastructure Team with the appointment of an Azure Infrastructure Engineer to complement their Manchester team. You would work as a wider cross border team supporting their Global estate. Spanning Europe, Asia, America and the Middle East they have a workforce of more than 5,500 and continually invest in their Technology function. You are joining them as they continue their cloud adoption journey. With a multibillion-dollar revenue they continually invest in tools and technology to improve the way in which they work.
You will be pivotal in enhancing the Azure skills set within the team. It is essential that you have proven hands-on commercial experience supporting Azure and with Kubernetes in a production environment to be considered.
Key skills and experience required:- You will have experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (ie Azure DevOps, ArgoCD) and be able to demonstrate expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services and solutions.
- You MUST be able to evidence proven hands-on commercial experience with Kubernetes in a production environment (preferably Red Hat OpenShift).
- You will have some experience in automating infrastructure processes using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Expertise in the VMware Cloud Foundation suite.
- You will be able to demonstrate experience with automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Ideally you will hold a Kubernetes certification, such as Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration (RHCSA) or an equivalent (ie CKA/CKAD) or cloud and on prem certification (ie VMware Certified Professional (VCP), RedHat Certified System Administrator (RHSA), Azure Administrator Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate etc).
Hybrid working is offered but there is a requirement to be onsite 3 days a week and so you MUST live within east commute of central Manchester.
