We re looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Engineer to help design and build the next generation of a rapidly growing enterprise AI platform.
This is a genuinely hands-on role offering significant ownership. you'll work directly with senior Data and AI leaders, helping shape the architecture before building secure, production-grade data infrastructure.
THE ROLE
- Design and build a scalable data platform supporting enterprise AI applications
- Shape the data architecture and make key technical decisions
- Develop reliable data pipelines and orchestration workflows
- Build cloud infrastructure using Terraform and AWS
- Create lakehouse capabilities using Parquet and Delta Lake
- Work closely with Data Science and Engineering colleagues
- Embed security, observability and engineering best practice from the outset
- Advanced Python engineering
- Strong commercial AWS experience
- Terraform and infrastructure as code
- Dagster or Airflow
- PostgreSQL
- Data lakehouse architecture
- Parquet and Delta Lake
- Building secure, production-grade data platforms
- Ability to operate with considerable autonomy
- RAG pipelines or production GenAI applications
- LangChain or Google ADK
- pgvector and FastAPI
- MLflow
- AWS EKS or Kubernetes
- SOC 2 or ISO 27001-regulated environments
