Eutopia Search are supporting a well-established manufacturing business in Peterborough in the appointment of a Finance Business Partner. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a site-based operation where finance plays a genuinely commercial role in supporting operational performance. Working closely with both finance leadership and the site management team, you’ll act as a key link between finance and operations, helping drive better decision making across the business.
The role will suit someone who enjoys getting close to the numbers and the operation, providing insight, challenge and support to improve performance across the site.
The Role
- Acting as the finance lead for the site, partnering with operational and production teams
- Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts, including analysis and performance commentary
- Providing commercial insight into site performance, including costs, margins and operational KPIs
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes for the site
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance profitability
- Analysing manufacturing variances including labour, material and overhead costs
- Supporting continuous improvement across financial reporting, controls and operational processes
About You
We’re keen to speak with candidates who are:
- Qualified or nearing qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Experienced in management accounting or finance business partnering
- Comfortable working closely with non-finance stakeholders across operations
- Strong analytically, with the ability to turn numbers into clear commercial insight
- Proactive, curious and keen to influence business performance
