Eutopia Search are exclusively partnering with a high-growth, private equity–backed business, who are seeking a Group Financial Controller / Head of Finance. This Senior Leadership opportunity will play a significant role transforming the finance team and leading on several key financial projects.
- Lead and develop the financial control function, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Oversee all aspects of Group Financial Reporting and Month End Close, while maintaining robust control and compliance frameworks.
- Manage the audit process across multiple entities and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors.
- Partner with the CFO on cash management, governance, and risk.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team, driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Deliver actionable financial insights to senior leadership, supporting strategic and commercial decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and best practices.
- Manage relationships with external advisers, including the auditors and tax partners.
About You:
- ACA, ACCA qualified (ideally trained in a Top 10 firm).
- Strong technical foundation with experience in financial control, reporting, and governance.
- Proven background in a Mid-Sized business.
- Audit background advantageous, but must bring a commercial, forward-thinking mindset.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented leader.
- Skilled in leading and developing teams.
- Excellent communicator, confident engaging across all levels of a business.
