We are currently partnering with a market-leading business to recruit a

Senior Finance Manager into a high-profile FP&A leadership position.

This role offers ownership of a significant operational cost base and capital investment programme, leading a team of 4–5 finance professionals while partnering directly with senior operational leaders across the business.

The Role

You’ll operate as the lead finance business partner to senior operational stakeholders, providing financial insight and challenge that supports both day‑to‑day performance and long‑term strategic decision making.

Key responsibilities include

  • Leading budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning activities.
  • Delivering insightful monthly reporting, analysis and performance reviews.
  • Partnering senior operational leaders to improve financial and operational performance.
  • Building robust business cases, investment appraisals and decision support models.
  • Supporting significant capital investment and cost optimisation initiatives.
  • Identifying business risks and opportunities, driving actions to improve performance.
  • Leading finance transformation and continuous improvement projects.
  • Developing and mentoring a high‑performing FP&A team.
  • Presenting financial performance and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

About You

You’ll be an experienced finance leader with the confidence and credibility to influence senior stakeholders within a large, complex organisation.

We’re looking for someone with

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
  • Significant experience within

FP&A, Operational Finance or Finance Business Partnering .

  • Strong budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning experience.
  • Excellent understanding of operational performance, cost management and capital expenditure.
  • Experience building business cases and supporting major investment decisions.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders through financial insight and analysis.
  • Previous experience leading, developing and motivating finance teams.
  • A proactive, commercially minded approach with a passion for driving continuous improvement.
