Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the month-end close process
- Preparing journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
- Balance sheet ownership and control
- Assisting with audits and maintaining strong financial controls
- VAT returns and wider tax support
- Supporting ongoing finance transformation projects
- Working closely with stakeholders across finance
What they’re looking for:
- AAT Qualified or ACA/ACCA studier will also consider Qualified by experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within financial accounting/financial control
- Strong month-end close and balance sheet reconciliation experience
- Previous exposure to audit processes
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- A proactive mindset with an interest in improving processes and controls
