A highly confidential appointment for a Group Financial Controller in South West London with a hybrid working model (3 days in the office). The role offers a salary of £100,000 plus car allowance and excellent benefits. This is a significant Group-level finance position working closely with a highly experienced senior leadership team.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the monthly Group consolidation process across a complex, multi-entity international structure, alongside Group reporting, statutory accounts, audit, financial control, and Head Office finance.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ownership of the monthly Group consolidation process, including intercompany, investment, and dividend reconciliations
  • Developing Group reporting, analysis, and commentary
  • Supporting the preparation of consolidated statutory accounts
  • Leading Head Office audit requirements and coordinating elements of the wider Group audit
  • Managing reporting and statutory information across multiple international entities
  • Head Office budgeting, cash, treasury, and financial control
  • Working closely with divisional Finance Directors and Financial Controllers
  • Managing and developing a junior member of the finance team
  • Improving processes, controls, and reporting across the Group

The profile is important. You will ideally be:

  • ACA qualified, with a strong audit/practice foundation
  • Already established within an industry finance role following practice
  • Technically strong, particularly around Group consolidations and statutory reporting
  • Experienced within a multi-entity and ideally international Group environment
  • Comfortable owning and coordinating complex audit processes
  • Hands-on and detail-oriented while still capable of operating at Group leadership level
  • Commercial, pragmatic, and confident dealing with senior stakeholders
  • Someone who enjoys improving reporting, processes, and controls rather than simply maintaining them

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has built strong technical foundations and now wants a role with genuine ownership, visibility, and longer-term progression within a substantial international organisation. Given the confidential nature of the appointment, further information will only be shared with suitable candidates following an initial conversation and having signed an NDA.
