We’re partnering with a global powerhouse in the FMCG sector, seeking a skilled Monthly Reporting Analyst to join their high-performing finance team in Surrey. About the Role:
As a Monthly Reporting Analyst, you’ll be responsible for managing period-end reporting, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and company policies, and supporting internal and external audits. You’ll also contribute to quarterly and annual submissions and help drive continuous improvements in the reporting process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage period-end close processes and prepare accurate financial reports
- Ensure timely submission of reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain strong controls and ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal policies
- Provide analysis and insights to support management decision-making
- Support the preparation of management reports and variance analysis
- Collaborate with finance teams globally to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting
- Assist with new initiatives and projects, providing accounting support as needed
Quarterly & Annual Focus:
- Prepare and submit HFM schedules in line with group reporting deadlines
- Assist with MD&A commentary and financial analysis
- Support internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely and accurate responses
What You’ll Need:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or working towards
- 3+ years’ experience in a reporting or technical accounting role
- Solid understanding of financial reporting principles and controls
- Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and HFM is advantageous
- Prior experience in a global or matrixed organisation
- Ability to manage deadlines, prioritise effectively, and work under pressure
- High attention to detail and a process-oriented mindset
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, proactive attitude
