Seeking an experienced Head of Transactional Finance / Shared Services Controller to review financial operations within a high growth business. Leading a Finance Transformation project, partnering the Group CFO. Looking for a Transactional Finance expert to evaluate and improve several core finance processes. This role will play a key part in modernising how finance operates, evaluating & improving key financial processes and tasks.
- Review and lead transformation of Sales Ledger process from heavily manual to system‑led.
- Agree with Exec Team proposed process including split of activities completed centrally and at business unit level.
- Develop and lead implementation of robust Dunning process.
- Develop and lead review of aged debtor balances, agreeing approach to close down aged position.
- Review options to simplify Purchase Ledger process within existing system structure and lead implementation of changes agreed.
Background
- An experienced SSC Controller or Head of Transactional Finance with significant finance process improvement experience.
- Experience supporting and delivering finance change and improvement projects, including systems and process transformation.
- Proven experience of leading teams with a focus on holistic service delivery and customer experience.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex problems and manage change effectively.
- The ability to coach, develop and inspire colleagues.
