We’re recruiting a Group Finance Controller to lead financial control, reporting, and performance management across a multi-site FMCG business. This is a pivotal role, managing a team of 12 finance professionals and partnering closely with the senior leadership team to drive financial excellence, governance, and commercial insight.
The Role
- Leading and developing a team of 12 across financial control, reporting, and transactional finance
- Owning the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process
- Ensuring strong financial governance, controls, and compliance
- Overseeing group statutory reporting and audit processes
- Driving improvements in financial processes, systems, and controls
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to support commercial decision-making
- Managing cash flow, working capital, and balance sheet integrity
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning cycles
About You
- You will be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Experienced in FMCG, manufacturing, or a fast-paced multi-site environment
- A confident people leader with experience managing large finance teams
- Strong in financial control, reporting, and process improvement
- Commercially minded with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Comfortable operating at Group / Board level
