Job OverviewThe Salesforce Technical Lead plays a key role in the Lead to Order unit, focusing on the Order Management and working closely with the Head of Order Management, business stakeholders, enterprise design and IT teams to guide the digital transformation of Salesforce platforms, defining the \âwhy and how\â that drives solution success.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the Technical Lead of the Order Management platforms built on Salesforce, being a single point of contact regarding implementation and development strategy.
Analyze and review Order Management Platforms architecture and recommend improvements and evolutions of Salesforce platforms and other integrated systems ensuring optimal performance of Salesforce systems and products.
Help the team implement solutions following best practices, arbitrate between click and code solutions and build proofsâofâconcept (POCs) that teams can further iterate on when necessary.
Work closely with the other teams of the Lead to Order unit and partner with crossâfunctional teams to design and implement bestâinâclass processes and develop solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Active participation in shaping specifications for enhancements and new features at demand assessment stage.
Ensure efficient communication between Order Management team and other IT and Business teams.
Manage external suppliers and challenge / push them towards delivery excellence.
Support monitoring activities and maintenance tasks, including diagnostic tests.
Key Skills and Qualifications
+ 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Architect/Tech Lead in a similar environment.
Proven experience in one or more Salesforce Product Technologies (sales, service, experience, marketing, pardot, CPQ).
Salesforce certifications are strongly recommended.
Experience with Conga or Zuora products is a plus.
Proven experience implementing technical architecture for complex largeâscale projects and in leading software delivery teams working with external suppliers.
Order Management journeys and associated capabilities.
Telecom and satellite systems experience.
Tools based scaled Agile delivery and DevOps â using inâhouse technical delivery, systems integrators and product vendors.
ITIL certification is a plus.
Global compliance, security standards and data protection.
Ability to work in a dynamic and complex international environment with proâactivity and flexibility.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team with the right level of autonomy and excellent relationshipâbuilding skills.
Full proficiency in English; other languages are a plus (French and Italian).
Degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent.
