You will lead a team of cybersecurity professionals and act as a key interface with the CDIO organization, ensuring strong alignment between cybersecurity, IT, and engineering functions.

While this is a leadership and governance role, you will also provide strategic oversight on security architecture, ensuring that appropriate frameworks, controls, and standards are consistently applied across business, cloud, and hybrid environments. This role requires a balanced profile: strategic, diplomatic, and business-oriented, with the ability to understand and challenge technical architectures.

Who You Are

  • A strategic leader motivated to contribute to a global mission of secure and trusted connectivity.
  • An experienced manager, capable of leading and developing a team of approximately 8 cybersecurity professionals.
  • A diplomatic and collaborative professional, able to build strong and constructive relationships, particularly with CDIO, engineering, and operations teams.
  • A strong communicator, able to translate cybersecurity and architectural risks into business language for senior stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • A cybersecurity leader with a solid understanding of security architecture principles across ICT, cloud, satellite, and hybrid environments.
  • A manager able to guide multiple business verticals to ensure alignment with group policies and regulatory frameworks.
  • Structured and detail-oriented, with strong capabilities in governance, policy definition, and compliance.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and develop the cybersecurity team, ensuring effective delivery of security operations, governance, and initiatives.
  • Define, implement, and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and governance frameworks across the organization.
  • Act as the primary interface with the CDIO department, ensuring alignment between cybersecurity strategy and IT/engineering roadmaps.
  • Provide strategic oversight and guidance on security architecture, ensuring appropriate controls across systems, networks, cloud, and hybrid environments.
  • Work with business segments and engineering teams to ensure security is embedded in operational and architectural designs.
  • Assess cloud and hybrid service models, ensuring risks are properly identified and managed across technical, procedural, and governance dimensions.
  • Ensure consistency and repeatability in security architecture and governance approaches across the organization.
  • Identify, assess, and manage cybersecurity risks, ensuring visibility at executive level and proper mitigation.
  • Report cybersecurity risks, compliance posture, and key findings to governance forums and senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable frameworks and regulations (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, NIS, etc.). Help the company's sales staff demonstrate their compliance to clients and ensure that their subcontractors comply.
  • Promote a strong security culture across the organization through awareness and engagement initiatives.
  • Contribute to incident response strategy and ensure resilience and business continuity considerations are embedded in architectures.
  • Monitor the proper conduct of cybersecurity audits and ensure that the resulting action plans are implemented effectively.

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience in a senior cybersecurity leadership role (CISO, Head of Security, or equivalent), and/or a solid professional background in international consultancy companies with a focus on CyberSec global initiatives.
  • Experience managing teams and delivering across complex, cross-functional and international environments.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, NIS, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of security architecture principles across applications, infrastructure, networks, and cloud/hybrid environments.
  • Experience working with large-scale enterprise architectures and global business requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and implement policies, procedures, and security standards.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with pragmatic execution and risk-based decision making.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage workload, and operate both independently and collaboratively.

What We’d Love

  • Certifications in cybersecurity or architecture (e.g. CISSP, ISO 27001, ISO 27005, TOGAF or equivalent).
  • Experience in telecommunications, satellite, or critical infrastructure environments.
  • Experience with cloud and hybrid security models at scale.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance-driven environments.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain relevant security clearances (e.g. French government clearance).
  • Fluency in English (French is a strong plus).

Where You’ll Work

Preferably based in Paris, with flexibility for London or Turin, depending on the candidate’s profile and business needs. Hybrid working arrangements available.
