We are looking for a Fixed Assets Analyst to join our Finance team. This position will report to the Fixed Assets Manager and will be responsible for assisting in the fixed asset accounting processes for the entire organisation.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in posting all fixed asset and intangible asset related entries into the ERP system.
- Handle lease accounting under IFRS 16 reporting.
- Manage ARO (Asset retirement obligation) accounting.
- Input, maintain and update lease additions, renewals and terminations in Lease Query system.
- Post lease and other journals.
- Prepare quarterly/monthly reconciliation of balance sheet lease related accounts.
- Capitalise assets and keep the fixed assets register up‑to‑date.
- Report and analyse assets under construction.
- Participate in the analysis of capital expenditure, including capex‑labour analysis.
- Perform special projects as needed.
What it Takes:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance.
- Experience in fixed assets accounting.
- Proven ability to understand and apply IFRS.
- Experience with SAP is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel modelling.
- Experience preparing accounting and audit schedules and notes.
