SAP Plant Maintenance/EAM Data Analyst - 18-Month+ Contract Role (Outside IR35) - Exeter, UK + Remote Work - End Client.

Our end-client is looking for an SAP Plant Maintenance Data Analyst to support a major SAP S/4HANA transformation programme for in Exeter, UK.
The role will focus on gathering, preparing and validating Asset Management / Plant Maintenance data ahead of migration into S/4HANA.
You will work closely with business and site stakeholders to understand where data is held, gather the required information and ensure it is complete and in the correct format for migration.
This would suit someone with 1–3 years' experience in SAP Plant Maintenance, Asset Management or SAP data who is comfortable working with Excel and engaging directly with business users.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and consolidate SAP Plant Maintenance / Asset Management master data from existing systems and business teams.
- Work with relevant SAP master data objects and understand the information required for migration.
- Work with site representatives and SMEs to obtain, extract, manipulate and verify data.
- Complete and maintain Excel-based data load templates ready for migration into S/4HANA (previous S/4HANA experience is not a must).
- Support mock data loads and migration cycles.
- Perform data validation and quality checks following each load, identifying gaps, errors and inconsistencies.
- Work with stakeholders to resolve missing or incorrect information.

Skills & Experience Needed
- 1–3 years' experience working with SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), Asset Management, SAP master data or a related SAP data role.
- Understanding of SAP PM / Asset Management master data objects.
- Some experience of data migration, data cleansing or master data preparation.
- Experience working with data load templates and mock/test loads would be beneficial.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence manipulating and checking large volumes of data.
- Good analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Able to perform validation and data quality checks and investigate discrepancies.
- Confident communicator who is comfortable speaking with business users, site teams and SMEs to gather the information needed.
- Organised and able to work to project deadlines.
Additional Info
The role is on-site for 2 days per week in Exeter, with 1 day per week travel to other sites within an hour of Exeter + 2 days/week remote work.
The onsite work will increase to 4–5 days during peak project periods.
