Job Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join our finance team in Gloucester. Working with one of the UK\’s leading infrastructure services companies, you\’ll support core financial operations with a focus on payroll processing and goods receipting.
Duties
• Support payroll administration including data entry, timesheet validation, and liaison with payroll providers
• Process goods receipts accurately and in a timely manner to ensure smooth payment processes
• Maintain accurate records and assist with reconciliations
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to resolve invoice and payment queries
• General finance admin support as required
Person Specification
• Previous experience in a finance/accounts support role
• Good working knowledge of payroll processes and goods receipting
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems (SAP experience desirable)
• A flexible, team-focused approach with excellent communication skills
