Summary
This role requires a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver/Plant Operative to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations
- Participate in training and development programmes as required
- Assist with the team in general plant duties when volumes are low or for holiday cover
Desirable skills
Experience in operating plant machinery in an aggregate or construction environment (desirable)
Good knowledge of UK roads and motorways
Specialist Skills
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
- Driving a goods vehicle: 1 year (essential)
- Driver CPC (essential)
- Digital Tachograph Card (essential)
- Clean driving licence
- Vocational qualifications such as MPQC, FORS, eTOTs (desirable)
General Competencies
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and vehicle maintenance
- Commitment to safety and environmental responsibility
- Excellent attention to detail
