This is a role for a skilled developer to play a significant part in the development of the company’s mobile applications. The role involves full SDLC including application and architectural design, for the applications and also the back-end. This role offers the chance to make a significant contribution and to develop new product lines. Note that to apply for this role you should be competent to develop both the app and the C# microservices back-end for it. There is scope for crossover into web development as we have a variety of products under development, so we seek a candidate who is also able to do this type of work. This adds greatly to the variety and quality of work for this role. The mobile apps are simple in terms of the user interface, but complex internally as they often work in real-time when online, but have also offline modes to facilitate working in areas of poor reception.

The position offered does not support remote working and therefore the candidate will need to travel to Eurostop's offices daily. Note that this position is only open to candidates already resident in the UK.
Responsibilities- Work to develop new mobile applications in React Native together with the associated C# microservices back end.
- Perform occasional maintenance on a number of Xamarin mobile apps.
- As required work on other applications which are used together with the mobile apps.
- 2+ years’ .NET development with both React Native and Xamarin
- 2+ years’ experience of developing microservice back-end APIs using .NET Core in C#
- 1+ years’ experience of working with Docker / Kubernetes
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of working with .NET MAUI Blazor
- Aptitude for creating presentable and friendly UX
- Flexibility to work on other application types e.g. ASP.NET MVC, WPF.
