An exciting opportunity awaits you as Supply Chain Performance and Forecast Analyst in our Rolling Stock team, supporting both Cross-Channel (e300 and e320) and Continental (PBA and PBKA) fleets. The analyst provides data-driven insight to support effective supply chain decision-making across Materials, Stores and Procurement.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and delivering supply chain and supplier KPIs, performance reporting and dashboards.
- Analysing availability, forecast accuracy, inventory and service levels, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Working closely with Supply Chain, Finance and IT teams to support forecasting and replenishment activities.
- Ensuring supply chain data integrity and contributing to financial reporting.
- Promoting strong data usage and continuous improvement across the business.
This permanent role is based at our Temple Mills depot in Leyton. There may be a requirement to be on-call. The close date for this role is 5pm on 9 February 2026. Requirements:
- Develop and deliver supply chain and supplier performance reporting, including KPI dashboards, scorecards and ad-hoc analysis.
- Create tools to support the overall Supply Chain team, understanding the output and delivering continuous improvement with the insights.
- Analyse supplier and supply chain performance across availability, OTIF, service levels, repair turnaround times and forecast accuracy, identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
- Support forecasting and replenishment activities for train spares, optimising planning tools and working closely with Supply Chain Planners.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support Materials, Stores and Procurement activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate and analyse stocktakes across multiple locations, proposing corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy and control.
- Ensure the integrity and quality of supply chain master data, including the development and delivery of audit and data governance activities.
- Produce regular supply chain reporting for Finance, including monthly financial and performance outputs.
- Act as a key interface between Supply Chain and IT, supporting data quality improvements and promoting effective use of data across the supply chain community.
You will need:
- Strong experience in data analysis within a complex engineering, rolling stock or asset-intensive supply chain environment, with the ability to drive performance improvements end-to-end.
- Solid knowledge of supply chain forecasting, replenishment and performance measurement, including the use of KPIs, dashboards and forecasting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify risks, trends and improvement opportunities.
- A good understanding of rolling stock maintenance requirements is desirable, including parts categories and how trainsets operate (high-speed rail knowledge also desirable).
- High level of data literacy, with advanced skills in Excel and Power BI (SQL desirable), and strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Demonstrated ownership, resilience and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work under pressure, influence others and deliver against commitments.
- Language skills: Advanced English (essential) and business-level French (desirable).
