Senior Finance Business Partner in our Finance, Strategy & Transformation team. The Senior Finance Business Partner is part of a team that enables all functions across Eurostar Group to manage financial performance, cash flow and capital expenditure to achieve budget targets and the longer-term strategic objectives of Eurostar Group. This is achieved by reporting accurate financial information, provision of insight from data analysis and provision of financial expertise to ExCo and their teams.
This permanent position can be based in either our London or Brussels office, with hybrid working (there is an expectation to be in the office 2 days per week). The close date for this role is 5pm on 4 February 2026. Responsibilities- Support monthly close process, ensuring accurate cost reporting and commentary against budget and forecast.
- Collaborate with Accounting and Reporting teams to align cost recognition with IFRS and capitalisation rules.
- Lead quarterly performance reviews and drive delivery of the budgeting process for assigned business areas.
- Analyse performance, identify risks and opportunities, and prepare robust business cases for capital expenditure.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships, provide tailored financial insights, and champion governance compliance.
- Partner with Procurement and business teams to optimise costs, mitigate overruns, and deliver efficiencies.
- Provide financial analysis and challenge for projects, translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Foster a high-performance environment, balancing priorities with resilience and emotional intelligence.
- An internationally recognised professional accountancy qualification, part qualification, or university equivalent.
- Ability to navigate change and operate in an ever changing environment.
- Advanced ability to think holistically about risks and opportunities and present persuasive recommendations.
- Strong influencing skills across Finance and non-Finance teams, including international stakeholders.
- Advanced problem solving and analytical skills to simplify complex data for diverse audiences.
- Expertise in financial planning tools for budgets, forecasts, and reporting (Adaptive Planning is a plus).
- Proficiency in French is desirable but not essential.
