We are looking for a Quality Team Leader to ensure Eurostampa UK’s print and finishing production processes operate using best practice Quality frameworks consistently during manufacturing.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise Quality direct labour resources on shift including Quality Control Inspectors
- Assist with the consistency of calibration maintenance and service of machinery to agreed standards
- Ensure jobs on press have the appropriate standards
- Liaise with the planning/customer service departments to highlight potential customer impacts due to quality issues
- Ensure compliance of the QMS and procedures in place including BRC, ISO, FSC etc
- Support the quality function through the continuous improvement of processes to reduce external, internal, and supplier non-conformances
- Highlight areas failing to meet with quality requirements
- Positively develop and mentor your shift team members
- Work with PSL, Digital and Wet Glue Production Managers to achieve optimum results
- Communicate internal quality performance across the management team
- Management of quality control resource towards normal / high value / or priority jobs
- Assist the Quality Manager in all required capacities
- Support accreditation organisations to ensure compliance with current standards
What We’re Looking For:
- A thorough knowledge of quality inspection, ideally in a label / high quality printing background
- Experience within a print based production environment
- Knowledge of printing processes is preferred
- Ability to work under own initiative and collectively as part of a team
