Quality Control Inspector - Permanent - Cumbernauld

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to take accurate measurements
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends or issues in product quality
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions
  • Conduct visual inspections to identify any defects or non‑conformities
  • Follow established procedures and protocols for quality control processes
  • Online label inspection for all PSL and Litho machines
  • Follow standard operating procedures for testing of labels
  • Assist within the department to ensure quality standards are maintained and developed to meet ongoing demands from customers
  • Work with functional departments/personnel to maintain and improve quality and assist in identifying improvements

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar role preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non‑conformities
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with quality control standards and procedures

Please note, this role will involve a three shift rotation, working 36 hours per week.
