Print Finishing Assistant – Permanent – Cumbernauld

In 2011, as part of our growth strategy in the UK, Eurostampa acquired Gilmour & Dean LTD, a Glasgow-based company established in 1846. Today, we continue to build on this heritage, delivering outstanding products with precision and care. We are looking for a Finishing Assistant to join our Wet Glue department where you will become an integral part of the printing process.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Preparation of printed sheets for the guillotine process
- Assisting at the die cutting machines
- Quality inspection of labels / box wraps
- Band and packing of labels
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
Experience & Skills Required
- Is experienced in a production based environment (desirable)
- Is organised and pro active
- Has excellent communication skills
- Is extremely well organised and be able to respond to tasks effectively and in a timely manner
Please note, this role will involve treble shift working, working 36 hours per week.
