Pre-Press Assistant – Permanent – Cumbernauld

Role & Responsibilities
- Flexo plate, emboss and silk screen production
- Complete tooling production for plan requirements as guided by shift operator
- Assist printer on press to ensure labels are printed to the highest quality
- Fitting printing plates to machine
- Process improvements and maintenance of current machinery
- Plate mounting for press
- Operate and maintain the Randex storage system
- Ensure plates that are produced in-house or at suppliers are kept in stock and stock checks are correctly completed
Skills & Experience
- Ability to work on own initiative and collectively as a team
- Proficient in numeracy and literacy
- Reliable and possess an excellent timekeeping/attendance record
- Flexible approach to changing work priorities and an ability to work to strict deadlines
- Experience working in a print‑based production environment is advantageous
