We are on an exciting journey of growth and transformation and are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to deliver generalist HR support while taking the lead on developing our performance management system and supporting training and development initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Acting as a point of contact for managers for general HR queries, providing clear and practical advice on policies, processes, and employment issues.
- Leading the development and implementation of a performance management framework, including goal setting, appraisal processes, and feedback systems.
- Supporting and coordinating training and development initiatives, including identifying training needs and sourcing or delivering learning solutions.
- Advising and supporting managers with employee relations matters, including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, and performance concerns.
- Supporting the implementation of HR strategies aligned to wider business goals.
- Maintaining and updating HR records and employee documentation in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Assisting in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (new starts, leavers, absence/sick pay, changes to T&Cs).
- Handling employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and mediation, to maintain and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Keeping up to date with relevant employment laws and regulations and ensuring company compliance.
- Participating in HR projects and initiatives to improve HR processes and practices within the organisation.
What Weβre Looking For
- A dedicated and resourceful HR Advisor who can provide valuable HR support to our employees and management.
- Proven experience in a HR Advisory role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience designing or supporting performance management and learning programmes.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Professional HR certification e.g. CIPD is desirable.

This role is a dayshift role, working Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm, and Friday 8am to 1pm. This will be fully onsite.
