We are looking for a detail-oriented External Quality Coordinator to manage quality issues, support customer visits, and drive continuous improvement. Experience in quality control and strong communication skills are key. If you are proactive and ready to make a difference, apply now!
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Customer Quality framework and manage customer quality complaints following standard operating procedures.
- Support customer visits where required offering technical support.
- Enhance, develop, and maintain the Internal/External non-conformance framework.
- Support the Quality Manager in all capacities.
- Create and facilitate Toolbox Talks & One Point Lessons for department awareness across the business.
- Lead by example supporting all Health & Safety, Quality, Compliance and Environmental matters.
- Participate in out-of-specification and failure investigations and recommend corrective/preventative actions.
- Communicate effectively to all internal stakeholders.
- Manage and support customer queries, improvement projects and non-conformances raised.
- Actively participate in meetings regarding quality and continuous improvement.
- Chair Quality related meetings where appropriate to set required focus of the business to improve external Quality.
- Quarantine non-conforming products and assist in resort process.
- Set regular update meetings providing information of findings, issues, and actions.
- Provide support and communication of quality issues to key stakeholders.
- Understand customer specifications and tolerances.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in quality control or a related field is preferred.
- Print industry experience preferred but not essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Advanced excel knowledge preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Experience in customer facing roles preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
- Ability to think on your feet and problem solve, agile in your thinking.
- Experience in BRC/ISO framework is preferred but not essential.
