We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our busy Finance team to support continued growth. This role will involve working cross functionally across the business.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assisting with daily sales and purchase ledger invoicing including customer self billing
  • Credit control
  • Assisting with sales and purchase ledger month end reconciliations
  • Assisting with annual audit
  • Assisting with credit card statements
  • Dealing with customer/supplier invoice queries efficiently
  • Liaising with colleagues as and when required to resolve any departmental queries
  • Provide support to head of finance and accountant with ad hoc finance duties
  • Sage payroll experience and legislation knowledge

Experience Required

  • Proven experience of working in a fast paced finance department
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Competent in all Microsoft Office packages including excel and word
  • Knowledge and experience using an ERP system
  • Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Knowledge and experience using Sage Payroll
  • Excellent communication skills are essential
  • Ability to work well as part of a team, but also using own initiative
  • Ability to work accurately whilst working to tight deadlines

This is a full-time, dayshift position working 37 hours per week with a 1pm finish on Fridays.
