Your new role
As part of the Global Technology & Operations team, this role is focused on WBD Sports, supporting the hybrid on‑premises and cloud infrastructure across Europe.
You will provide Tier 2 support and engineering expertise for MAM and post‑production platforms, collaborating with teams in London, Paris and across all markets.
Responsibilities
- Manage tickets escalated from Level 0 and Level 1 support teams
- Coordinate incident and problem follow‑up with internal and external teams
- Follow up on platform day‑to‑day operations with the support Tier 1
- Plan maintenance activities
- Upgrade phases and reboot action coordination
- Monitor and maintain the overall health and performance of the platform
- Collaborate with Tier 3 engineering team
- Gather workflow requirements from WBDSports, TNT Sports, and Eurosport offices
- Produce workflow, project and engineering documentation
- Design centralized workflows across MAM and post‑production platforms
- Support users through change management and new project implementation
Qualifications
- Degree in Technology, Engineering, Broadcast, or a related field
- Fluent written and spoken English
- French language skills are desirable
- Strong communication skills
- Adaptability to work in a fast‑paced and continuously changing environment
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure, especially when supporting live events
- Self‑motivated and collaborative team player committed to high‑quality customer service
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in broadcast technology support or engineering
- Experience in sports, news, production and documentary environments
- Experience with MAM and post‑production tools
- Extensive broadcast technical background (IP video 2110, AES 67, NMOS, video and audio formats and codecs)
- Good understanding of IT technologies and associated challenges (network, virtualization, storage, cloud services, security)
- Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends to keep systems efficient, scalable and aligned with business growth

- Knowledge of AWS services
- Knowledge of microservices architecture

- Work on shift (evening and weekend)

This role is advertised as a hybrid work model, combining remote and in‑office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager.
