We are hiring a Warehouse Shift Manager to join a leading freight forwarder at their Stanford-Le-Hope site. The successful candidate will operate on a rotating weekly shift pattern overseeing the company's receiving, storage, pick, pack and dispatch operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and motivate the team of 7 warehouse operatives in order to hit targets.
- Oversee all warehouse activities (receiving & storage to picking, packing & dispatch).
- Keep inventory flawless with WMS & deliver regular performance reports.
- Champion health & safety and compliance to keep our workplace secure.
- Spot opportunities, solve problems, and make processes smoother & smarter.
- Drive team training, briefings, and performance reviews to boost skills & morale.
Job Requirements
- Experience in warehousing with 12 years in a supervisory or team leader role.
- Strong leader with excellent communication & team motivation skills.
- Knowledge of WMS with forklift certification and safe equipment operation.
- Flexible, resilient, and safety-first with the ability to work rotating shifts & overtime.
