Reporting to the Divisional General Manager / Divisional Director, you will play a critical role in developing new business at a crucial stage of growth for this branch, for their air and ocean freight services. My client offers a modern and well-equipped workspace with the latest amenities and extensive career development opportunities, within a supportive culture.
Responsibilities
- New Business Development for the company’s air/ocean freight services
- Prospect for potential new clients, develop and close the business
- Cold call as appropriate within your geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
- Identify potential clients and the decision-makers within the client organisation
- Research and build relationships with new clients
- Arrange meetings with prospective clients
- Plan approaches and pitches
- Develop proposals that meet the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives
- Client retention
- Present new products and services and enhance existing client relationships
- Work with internal colleagues to meet customer needs
- Arrange and participate in internal and external client meetings
